The caring children of every elderly client we look after.
Ankang — 安康 — means peace and good health. It's the standard we hold ourselves to. Warm enough to feel like family. Expert enough that families trust us with the things that matter most.
Built by nurses. Run like family.
Ankang was founded in Box Hill in 2023 by aged-care nurses who saw the gap firsthand. The big agencies were too complex. The community options were too informal and not clinically focused. And almost nothing was bilingual at the level that matters most — leadership.
So they built what was missing. Today our team supports older Australians and their families across Melbourne's East and South-East, led by Registered Nurses who still answer the phone.
Every person we hire is held to one standard — would we trust them with our own grandmother?
The answer has to be yes. Always.
Help every older Australian who chooses home, stay there.
We coordinate the people, the schedule and the paperwork — so the family can focus on being family.
Aged care that feels like care, not a service.
A future where every older person in Australia has the warmth of family and the expertise of clinicians, on their terms.
Honour. Organised. Motivated. Excellence.
H.O.M.E — Four words we test every decision against — from how we hire, to how we write a quote, to how we answer the after-hours line.
The people on the other end of the phone.
Every Ankang client has one care manager. They're the single point of contact, the human who knows your story, the one who picks up the phone when something changes.

Amber believes culturally appropriate care is more than just language — it is found in the small details, understanding, and respect shown to every individual. This belief forms the foundation of how our team supports and cares for our clients every day.
