What you'll receive is measured in hours — not dollars.
Under Support at Home, the government assigns you a classification from 1 to 8 based on your assessed needs. Each level comes with a quarterly budget that turns into a number of care hours each week. Here's what every level looks like in practice.
Pick a level. See what a week looks like.
Hover or tap any classification to see the funded weekly hours and a sample plan at that level. Clinical services (nursing, allied health) are 100% government funded at every level — no client contribution applies.
Indicative weekly hours assume a blended service rate of roughly $85/hour, with the mandatory 10% care-management deduction applied. Your actual hours depend on your service mix, when services are delivered, and your assessed contribution. Budget figures are effective 1 November 2025 and indexed each 1 July.
Three bands. Eight levels. One care manager either way.
Whichever level you're assigned, you get a dedicated Ankang care manager who builds the plan with you, coordinates the team, and adjusts as your needs change. The level just determines how many hours we can put on the schedule.
